Fairy Garden Mini Album for a Swap

Hi All

 

I made this for my swap partner, Kristine.  I joined a swap on My Scraproom a NING site.

 

I started by drawing my gates and cutting them out in paper so I could see if they would work or not.

 

 

I covered them in brown paper and mod podge and then rubbed in some Patina Gilding Wax by Creative Expressions.

 

 

 

 

I wrapped flowers around the gates and backed each one with Paper and a pocket with punched detail.

 

 

 

 

I made my pages from cardstock and folded them into a pocket and punched holes at the end for binding.  I intended to use ribbon and beads but used the rings to hold it all together while I added everything to the pages.

Free Standing Calendars

Hi All

I made a calendar for a friend and I decided to make a few more.  They are easy to make and would make nice Christmas presents.

 

 

These are undecorated.  I got the idea from Kathryn.  She made me a freestanding mini album a few years ago.

Baby Boy Teeny Mini

Ali Craft Monthly Blog Challenge #1

Hiya All

 

I created this little 4x4 mini album for Ali Craft's first Monthly challenge.  You can find their blog here - http://ali-craft.blogspot.co.uk/

 

The base pages are pocket pages made out of white 300gsm card which I have inked.  The paper I used is Graphic 45's Secret Garden collection.  I used the leftovers from an earlier project and had just enough left for this small mini.

Front Page

 

 

Pocket Page and tags

 

 

A corner pocket made from acetate. 2 lines of mesh bling and punched flowers with 2 flat backed pearls and 2 fancy edge tags.

 

 

A flip up page made into a pocket that holds two stamped and distressed tags.The front of the flip up has guipure lace from Wild Orchid Crafts that has been coloured by spectrum noir pens.  I distressed 2 heart cut outs that I got from eBay.  The flowers I punched out using a flower punch and the flat backed pearls I bought at the NEC in Birmingham ages ago.  The stamps I got when I attended a craft workshop at Ali Craft.

 

 

This page holds a double slider card made into a pocket.  There is one tag behind the pocket and one tag in a corner pocket on the front of the double slider.

 

 

This is a fold out held closed by a magnet.  There is a pocket behind it holding a tag.

 

 

This is a swivel page.

 

 

This is another double slider page.  I've got the hang of making them now.
